Pic of the day: Shivers and timbers in Sequoia National Park

Yesterday we saw the youngest blooms in the county – freshly-born wildflowers. Today, we visited a 2,200 year old tree – the world’s biggest, the great sequoia, General Sherman, in Sequoia National Park,

Yet another mind-blowing experience in California, the state that has it all. I’l wax lyrical about the visit in a later post. For now, I’ll let the pics do the talking. It was wintery – at times shiveringly cold after a long hike – and timber-y, really timber-y.

Hope you enjoy this dose of evening wood.
